Wentzville Rotary

What Rotarians are working on in 2008

We are hosting a Community Sale Sept. 25-27 in the Medical Building nearest the water tower on the grounds of SMS St. Joseph Hospital Wentzville.

We are putting plans into place to host an International effort to fund 1,000 eye surgeries in Pakistan. This work will allow some Pakistanians to see their spouses, families, and friends for the first time - the miracle of sight.

We supported Paul Moore DDS, and others, in their efforts this spring as they performed dental procedures among the poor in Honduras. and we helped purchase computers for children in orphanages in Peru.

We sponsored a Charity Golf Tournament this spring and a run/walk with the Wentzville Schools Foundation.

Our members support over 20 local charities, church, or civic organizations with contributions from their "wheel spins" each quarter of the year. Members with perfect attendance are given a spin of the wheel. They then donate the amount of money they spin, up to $100, for the charities or organizations they have chosen.
